Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about EdSoft, how it works, and how to get started.
General
EdSoft is a digital learning platform designed to replace traditional textbooks with interactive, adaptive modules. Instead of reading static content, learners actively engage with lessons, complete challenges, and receive instant feedback that keeps them moving forward. Everything is structured, but it never feels slow or repetitive.
The platform is built to work in real-world environments, not ideal ones. That means it runs smoothly on low-end devices, works offline, and still delivers a high-quality learning experience. If you want the full overview, you can explore the platform on the EdSoft homepage.
Most platforms take textbooks and put them on a screen. EdSoft is built differently. It actively teaches by adapting to each learner, adjusting difficulty in real time, and keeping lessons fast-paced so learners don’t lose focus. Instead of long explanations followed by a test, learning happens continuously through interaction.
This approach is based on how learners actually behave today. Attention is short, feedback needs to be immediate, and progress needs to be visible. That’s why EdSoft feels more like a system guiding the learner than a tool they have to push through.
Modules & Learning
An EdSoft Module is a complete subject, not just a collection of lessons. Each module is built around a specific grade and curriculum, and is designed to fully replace the textbook and workbook for that subject. It includes lessons, assessments, and an adaptive learning algorithm built into one system.
Modules are standalone, which means you don’t need to buy an entire bundle. You can choose exactly what you need, whether that’s one subject or multiple. You can browse all upcoming options in the modules page, where each module is clearly structured by grade and subject.
All EdSoft modules are sold as once-off purchases. There are no subscriptions, no recurring fees, and no ongoing payments required to keep access. Once you buy a module, you own it forever.
This model is intentional. It keeps pricing predictable and aligns more closely with how schools and parents already think about textbooks. Instead of paying every month, you invest once and keep access long-term.
EdSoft continuously tracks how a learner performs and adjusts the experience in real time. If a learner struggles, the system reinforces the concept in a different way. If they perform well, it increases the challenge to keep them progressing.
The goal is to keep learners in the right zone at all times. Not too easy, not too difficult. This prevents frustration while still ensuring real progress is made over time.

Learners are never forced to stay stuck on a single concept. If they struggle repeatedly, the system moves them forward and revisits the concept later. This keeps momentum going and avoids frustration.
At the same time, problem areas are tracked. This means parents and teachers can clearly see where support is needed, instead of guessing. It turns “getting stuck” into something manageable instead of something discouraging.
Technical
Yes. EdSoft is built to work fully offline. Once a module is set up, learners can continue working without any internet connection. This makes it practical for both homes and schools where internet access could be slow, limited or unreliable.
When a connection is available again, progress syncs automatically. This allows parents and teachers to monitor performance without requiring constant connectivity.
EdSoft is designed to run on a wide range of devices, including desktops, laptops, and tablets. The focus is on accessibility, which means it is optimised to perform well even on lower-end hardware.
This is a key part of the platform. It ensures that schools and families don’t need expensive devices to benefit from the system. The experience is designed to feel fast and responsive regardless of hardware limitations.
For Schools
Yes. EdSoft is designed to fit directly into classroom environments. It can be used for teaching, revision, homework, or independent learning without requiring a complete change in how lessons are delivered.
Teachers can use it to support their existing curriculum, reinforce concepts, and give learners additional practice. It works alongside traditional teaching, not against it.
Yes. Schools can organise learners into groups, making it easy to manage classes, track progress, and monitor performance at scale. This allows teachers to quickly see how different groups are performing without needing separate systems.
These tools are built to reduce admin, not add to it. Instead of manually tracking learners, everything is centralised and structured inside the platform.
Yes. Because modules are structured by grade and the system adapts to each learner, it’s easy to support different levels within the same class. Learners can work at their own pace without falling behind or being held back.
This makes it useful for catch-up, reinforcement, and extension work. Teachers can support a wide range of learners without needing completely separate materials.
Yes. EdSoft offers bulk pricing for schools and learning centres. This allows institutions to purchase access at scale without paying full individual pricing for each learner.
Bulk pricing is handled automatically when 5 or more of the same module is added to cart.
For Homeschoolers
Yes. EdSoft is well suited for homeschooling because it provides a complete, structured learning system without requiring parents to build everything from scratch. Each module is designed as a full subject, so you’re not piecing together lessons from different sources or trying to map content manually.
Instead of acting as a supplement, EdSoft can act as the core learning system. It guides the learner through concepts step by step, adapts to their pace, and ensures progress is consistent. This reduces the planning load on parents while still giving learners a clear, structured path.
No. EdSoft is designed so that parents don’t need formal teaching experience. The platform handles lesson structure, progression, and reinforcement automatically, which means you’re not responsible for designing the learning flow yourself.
Your role shifts from “teacher” to “support.” You can monitor progress, step in when needed, and guide your child without having to explain every concept from scratch. The system does the heavy lifting, while you stay involved at the right level.
EdSoft modules are built around structured lessons that naturally fit into a daily routine. Each lesson is designed to be manageable in a single sitting, making it easy to plan consistent learning without long, exhausting sessions.
This makes it simple to build a routine. You can assign a set number of lessons per day, mix subjects, and adjust based on your child’s pace. Because progress is tracked automatically, you always know where you are and what comes next.
Yes. EdSoft is designed for self-paced learning. The system adapts to each learner, so they can move faster through concepts they understand and spend more time on areas they find challenging.
This is especially valuable in homeschooling, where learners often progress at different speeds. Instead of being locked into a fixed pace, each learner follows a path that matches their ability, which leads to better understanding and less frustration.
Yes. A single account can manage multiple learners, each with their own profile and progress. This allows you to run a full homeschool setup from one place, even if your children are in different grades or working on different subjects.
Each learner’s experience remains personalised, so they are not affected by what others are doing. This makes it practical for families while still maintaining individual learning paths.
Yes. EdSoft is being built as a full learning ecosystem across multiple subjects and grade levels. This means it can support learners over time, not just for a short period.
Because modules are once-off purchases, you build your library as you go. Over time, this becomes a complete system that grows with your child, without ongoing subscription costs.
For Parents
Yes. EdSoft works just as effectively at home as it does in a school environment. Parents can track progress, identify strengths and weaknesses, and understand exactly where their child needs support.
The platform gives you visibility without complexity. You don’t need to interpret results or guess what’s happening. Everything is structured clearly so you can step in when needed.
Yes. A single account can manage multiple learner profiles. Each learner has their own progress, their own modules, and their own learning path.
This makes it practical for families sharing devices. Everyone gets a personalised experience without needing separate accounts or complicated setups.
Note that Modules cannot be shared. You'll need to purchase separate modules for each profile as progress is tied to the module.
EdSoft tracks progress automatically as your child works through lessons. You can see what they’ve completed, where they are performing well, and where they may be struggling.
This removes the need for manual tracking or guesswork. Instead of trying to piece together progress from different sources, everything is clearly visible in one place.
Payments & Policies
Payments are processed securely through a third-party provider. EdSoft does not store card details, ensuring that payment information remains protected.
The process is designed to be simple and secure, whether you are purchasing as a parent or on behalf of a school.
EdSoft offers refunds under specific conditions. If a module has been used minimally and is still within the allowed timeframe, a refund can be requested.
The exact terms, including eligibility and how to request a refund, are outlined in the refund policy. It’s worth reviewing this before purchasing so you understand how it works.
EdSoft takes data privacy seriously. Your data is protected, never sold, and only used to improve the experience on the platform.
You can review how data is handled in our privacy policy, which explains what is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected.
Using EdSoft means agreeing to the platform’s terms, including how accounts are managed, how modules are used, and how purchases are handled.
These are outlined clearly in our terms of service, which cover both individual users and schools.
